BANK BUILDING
Butte, Montana
The
Metals Bank Building was built in 1906 at the corner of
Park and Main in Uptown Butte, Montana.
The
eight story bulding was designed by Cass Gilbert (Woolworth
Building, New York; Minnesota State Capital, Saint Paul;
U.S. Supreme Court Building, Washington D.C.).
At
the time these photographs were taken, the top floor of
the building was unoccupied. These pictures are from a
series of 20 photographs taken in July 2002 by Apollonia
Morrill.
